Founded in 2005 with a simple mission: build relationships and solve problems

AXIA Consulting was founded in 2005 by Paul Grove and Ed Mueller, with the mission of developing long-term relationships with organizations by offering high quality resources to address their most difficult IT and business process challenges.

Derived from the Greek word for “value,” the name AXIA is significant, as it symbolizes the core values that have driven the company since its inception:

The “X” in AXIA also came to represent the company’s focus on technology supporting business processes, where people and technology “met at the crossroads.” This early foundation, built on honesty and delivery, fueled the company’s growth and remains in place today.

As the company’s success spread, Paul and Ed were joined by senior technology experts from the nation’s top companies and, by the end of 2006, had a growing base of consultants and clients. AXIA was widely accepted in the marketplace for its refreshingly honest approach with clients and impressive depth of experience.

Columbus Business First recognized AXIA as the second-fastest growing company in Central Ohio in 2009. One year later, AXIA was recognized by national publication Inc. Magazine as one of the 5,000 fastest growing companies in the United States. AXIA has been honored as a member of this prestigious list every year since.

Though time has passed since Paul and Ed formed AXIA Consulting, their core belief has remained intact.
