AXIA Consulting Extends Geographic Footprint into Indiana
We are pleased to announce that Teresa Conroy-Roth joined AXIA Consulting on January 28, 2013. Teresa is based in Indianapolis, IN, and brings over 20 years of industry and advisory experience in technology and talent management. Her primarily focus will be in developing new business in Indiana and the greater Midwest.
Prior to joining AXIA Consulting, Teresa was a Senior Vice President with Technology Partnership Group, and held technical leadership roles with several other large companies. She is very active with multiple non-profit technology organizations and initiatives including Women and Hi-Tech, Harrison College IT Advisory Board, Society of Information Management, and the Indiana and Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM).

Jeffrey Hill, AXIA Senior Consultant, Awarded with The American Payroll Association’s Meritorious Service Award
AXIA Consulting is proud to announce that Jeff Hill, Senior Consultant at AXIA Consulting, has been awarded the American Payroll Association’s (APA) Meritorious Service Award. Jeff was honored with this award in front of 2,000 of his peers during the American Payroll Association’s 30th Anniversary Congress held on May 9th.
This award was given to Jeff based on his volunteer work for the APA’s Hotline Referral Service, Networking Committee and the Board of Contributing Writers for membership publications; and for actively serving as a member of the Data Privacy and Security Subcommittee of the Government Affairs Task Force and the Global Issues Subcommittee of the Strategic Payroll Leadership Task Force.

AXIA Consulting was well represented at Collaborate 12, an Oracle technology and application conference in Las Vegas this spring.
AXIA Consultants delivered presentations covering two important topics, supply chain improvement and Oracle E-business suite controls. The first presentation covered a recent implementation of Oracle’s iSupplier and Sourcing modules, which allow businesses to transform their manual paper based sourcing process to a streamlined and collaborative approach. This implementation allowed procurement specialists to focus on strategic buying initiatives rather than manually tracking and routing documents. The implementation has helped drive bottom line cost savings through reduced material costs and increased process efficiency. The second presentation described a project that deployed Oracle’s Governance, Risk, and Compliance software suite. These tools enabled the client to manage SOX Compliance, monitor segregation of duties conflicts, track E-Business Suite transactions, monitor configuration changes, and embed controls into the E-Business suite.

AXIA Consultants Present at OAUG Connection Point® — Release 12.1
Earlier this month, AXIA Consultants shared their extensive Oracle R12 upgrade experience by presenting at the OAUG Connection Point® — Release 12.1 conference, a two-day regional event held in Chicago to help Oracle users gain up-to-date insight through low cost, high impact education and networking.
Presentations included lessons learned and key considerations from an R12 Oracle Applications perspective that provided the audience with pragmatic advice regarding the new features and modules in Oracle R12. In addition to the technical aspects of an R12 upgrade, AXIA Consultants also discussed the unique project management challenges of R12 upgrades and provided the audience with tools, tricks, and tips that help ensure that R12 upgrade projects are successfully completed on time and within budget.

Based in Atlanta, Cliff has spent 20+ years advising clients and successfully managing large, complex IT application-related projects across a number of industries. Cliff is a highly competent and practical, business-focused technology leader with expertise in a diverse range of technologies within multiple industry settings. He has a distinguished track record of accomplishments within IT operations, specifically for the on-time and on-budget delivery and maintenance of ERP and related major application systems.
Prior to joining AXIA, Cliff was responsible for the global JD Edwards practice of Dell Services. . Previous to Dell, Cliff held senior leadership positions and led large delivery programs for Perot Systems, IBM Global Services, Hyperion, and Arthur Andersen’s Business Consulting practice.

Based in Atlanta, GA, John has over 20 years of industry and advisory experience, assisting clients in managing complex business and systems transformation projects to drive cost savings, operational synergies, and improved profitability throughout their organizations. Clients have included organizations across multiple industries, both public and privately held, ranging in size and scale from Fortune 100 to private equity portfolio companies with annual revenues of $30-40M.
Prior to joining AXIA Consulting, John was a Managing Director with the Performance Improvement practice at Alvarez & Marsal, LLC. Previous to A&M, John held leadership positions with Perot Systems and was a partner with Arthur Andersen’s Business Consulting practice.
