Job Requirements:

• Comprehensive knowledge and experience in one or more of the following:
  • Oracle Financials application modules ( GL, AP, AR, FA, PA)
  • Manufacturing (INV, BOM, WIP, ASCP, PJM)
  • Procurement (PO, iSupplier, Sourcing, iProcurement, iExpenses)
  • Master Data Management (PIM)
  • Human Resources (HR, CWB, Self-service, OTL)
  • Business Intelligence (OBIEE)
  • Other EBS modules
  • Strong Configuration skills
• Minimum 5 years of industry and/or consulting experience in a functional capacity
• Demonstrated success in executing or substantially contributing to Oracle Applications implementation
• Participation in upgrade or improvement projects with defined business impact
• Very strong verbal communication skills including the ability to interact with executive staff
• Strong written communications skills
• Professional demeanor
• Hands on experience of an R12 upgrade/implementation desired

• Fill a variety of roles on an implementation – from team lead to principle consultant to technical consultant
• Setup and use project management processes/systems across multiple work streams; including planning the project life cycle, identifying key project activities and milestones
• Lead configuration design and or global blue print design sessions
• Consult with clients on a variety of data integrity issues and conduct product fit analysis
• Lead production roll-out
• Develop a trusted advisory relationship with client contacts through effective communication and efficient, quality execution of projects
• Meet revenue chargeable hour goals established by Firm leadership
• Support the generation of new business by expanding existing relationships
• Travel up to 80% of time (Monday – Thursday every week)

The successful candidate will have:

• Experience leading or supporting ERP implementations
• System design, build and deployment experience
• Ability to learn technology concepts quickly with limited support or instruction
• Strong technical aptitude with a solid understanding of database structures, conversion and interface methods, and report development
• Experience completing business analysis and requirements gathering
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Self-starter attitude and ability to work well in an ambiguous role
• Proven ability to collaborate and build strong relationships with team members
• A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
• At least 5 years consulting experience

Duties: Perform systems integration, and analysis services for clients. Correct errors in applications to ensure that desired results are produced; conduct trial runs of programs and software applications; write, update, and maintain computer programs or software packages to handle specific jobs. Write, analyze, review, and rewrite programs; perform or direct revision, repair, or expansion of existing programs to increase operating efficiency or adapt to new requirements; perform systems analysis and programming tasks; compile and write documentation of program development and subsequent revisions.

Requirements: Position requires a Bachelor’s degree in CS, CIS, Engineering, or relevant field, and 24 months of professional experience working on computer applications used in the insurance industry. Must include two years experience gaining proficiencies with Oracle Financial Applications, Oracle Forms/Reports, SQL, PL/SQL, and Informatica.

Presentations included lessons learned and key considerations from an R12 Oracle Applications perspective that provided the audience with pragmatic advice regarding the new features and modules in Oracle R12. In addition to the technical aspects of an R12 upgrade, AXIA Consultants also discussed the unique project management challenges of R12 upgrades and provided the audience with tools, tricks, and tips that help ensure that R12 upgrade projects are successfully completed on time and within budget.
